Telepractice is the use of live videoconferencing to provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and behavioral and mental health services to students in schools or in their homes.
Student and therapist can see, hear, and interact with one another in real time, using a secure webcam and headsets, in a live online shared learning environment. Teletherapy is supported by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Physical Therapy Association.
