Telepractice is the use of live videoconferencing to provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and behavioral and mental health services to students in schools or in their homes.

Student and therapist can see, hear, and interact with one another in real time, using a secure webcam and headsets, in a live online shared learning environment. Teletherapy is supported by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Physical Therapy Association.

Our therapist provide our students , HIPAA-compliant, evidence-based servies.  Utilizing digital technology in a fun and engaging format,engages our students.Studies show that teletherapy is an effective and engaging method of providing therapy services.

If you’re not familiar with telepractice, that’s okay. PDS will make sure you receive the training you will need to maintain best practices and take on the same set of responsibilities as a traditional on-site therapist.
